Data deletion instructions

Removing our app from Facebook or Instagram

If you connected a Facebook Page or Instagram account through Meta, removing TheAlterMeAI or revoking permissions in Facebook settings → Apps and websites stops future access through Meta. It does not automatically erase data we already stored on our servers (for example your account, profiles, knowledge entries, or scheduling history). To delete that data, follow the email process below.

What you can ask us to delete

Subject to law and legitimate interests (for example billing records we must retain), we can process:

• Your user account and sign-in identity we hold for TheAlterMeAI.
• Personal profiles, linked social accounts, Knowledge Vault entries, drafts, schedules, and related product data.
• Extension API tokens and other credentials stored for your workspace.

Some aggregated or de-identified analytics may remain where we cannot reasonably link it to you. We will confirm what we can remove in our reply.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email from the same address you use to sign in (your Google account email), if possible, so we can verify ownership quickly.
2. Use a clear subject line, for example: Data deletion request — TheAlterMeAI.
3. In the body, state that you want your TheAlterMeAI account and associated personal data deleted, and optionally list connected platforms (X, Meta/Instagram, etc.) if you want us to confirm disconnections.

What happens next

We will confirm receipt and may ask for a brief verification step. We aim to complete deletion or anonymisation within thirty (30) days where feasible, unless a longer period is required by law or dispute resolution. We will send a short confirmation when the process is finished.

Chrome extension

Uninstalling the extension from your browser removes it from your device only. To delete server-side data tied to your account, use the email process above.
