Terms of Service

Last updated: April 13, 2026

Privacy Policy

Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, web application, and optional browser extension marketed as TheAlterMeAI (together, the “Services”), operated by ADEPT HORIZON ENTERPRISE LTD (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Note. These Terms are provided for transparency and platform requirements (for example app store or API provider review). They are not a substitute for legal advice; you may wish to consult a lawyer for your situation.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet any minimum age we apply (for example, you must not be under 13 where the Services are not directed to children). You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

We may use third-party authentication (for example Google). Your use of those providers is also subject to their terms and policies.

The Services

The Services may include AI-assisted content generation, knowledge storage, scheduling features, social features such as “Social Mutuals,” optional integrations with third-party platforms (for example X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Meta properties, YouTube, TikTok), and a browser extension that interacts with sites you visit when you choose to use it.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features or the Services (in whole or in part) with reasonable notice where practicable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Your content and licence to us

You retain rights to content you submit. To run the Services, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit, display, and create derivative outputs (for example AI-generated drafts) solely as needed to provide and improve the Services, including storage, backups, security, and support.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by: attempting to gain unauthorised access; interfering with the Services or other users; reverse engineering where prohibited by law or contract; using the Services to spam, harass, or distribute malware; or using the Services in violation of applicable law or third-party platform rules.

We may investigate and suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or created risk or legal exposure for us or others.

Third-party services and platforms

The Services may depend on or link to third parties (hosting, AI providers, authentication, social networks, payment processors where applicable). Your use of those services is at your risk and subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or actions.

When you connect a social account or use platform APIs, you must comply with that platform's policies and developer terms in addition to these Terms.

Fees

Some features may be free and others paid or token-based. Where we charge fees, we will present pricing and billing terms before you commit. Taxes may apply as required by law.

Intellectual property

The Services, branding, and our software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, we reserve all rights.

Disclaimers

The Services and all outputs (including AI-generated text) are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage.

AI outputs may be inaccurate or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with law and platform rules before you publish or rely on any output.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Services.

Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of or related to the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve (12) months before the claim or (b) one hundred pounds sterling (£100), except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us and our affiliates, officers, and employees against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, to the extent permitted by law.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we wind down the Services. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations, and indemnity) will survive termination.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example by email or in-product notice). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
